In this video I went on location to Myuna Farm to share how I photograph animals for my compositing work.

There are many challenges to photographing animals in captivity. Fences, access and light all contribute to the complexity of capturing a useful image. In this video I share my tips on lens choice, shooting through fences, aperture and shutter speed decisions and choosing your light. And of course, being an Aussie, I couldn’t help but choose to focus on the cute Kangaroos and Joey’s hopping around at Myuna Farm.

NB: Please contact your individual zoo’s and farms for permission to photograph animals if using for commercial purposes.
